Frequently Asked Questions
I offer individual, couples, and older adolescent therapy. I am also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for the treatment of trauma, including medical, sexual, childhood, and cult/religious trauma.
Depending on what you're comfortable with, I can offer the option of therapy via Zoom (aka teletherapy), in-person sessions at my office, or a combination of the two.Â
My fee is $235 for a 50-minute session. For a 90-minute session, my fee is $300.
I do have very limited sliding scale spots at varying times during the week.
No, I do not accept any insurance. The reason why I choose not to do so is because it can interfere with the integrity of our work.
Generally speaking, insurance companies require a diagnosis to justify treatment, and my focus is on working with the person, not the diagnosis.
I can, however, offer you a SuperBill (which basically labels me as an "Out of Network Provider") if you would like to try to seek reimbursement from your insurance company that way. That is something you would need to ask your insurance about prior to the session.
I am a Certified Practitioner in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
I am also a Certified Practitioner in Trauma-Informed Stabilization and Treatment (TIST).
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of California, Arizona, and New Jersey.
